Creativity has always been at my core, but it wasn’t until I planned my own elopement that I realized wedding planning was my true calling. Designing every detail to reflect my husband and our story pulled me in quickly, and I soon found myself learning everything I could about planning, coordination, and building a business from the ground up. I took the leap and booked my first client shortly after. Not long after that first wedding, I knew this was more than a side hustle—it was my career.
Then life shifted fast: a new baby, burnout, and a cancer diagnosis all at once. I’m now in remission from stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma. While postpartum, and receiving chemo, I kept going—working long days, traveling between Seattle and Spokane just days after treatments, and staying committed to every event on my calendar. I think its safe to say nothing slows me down. Through it all, I never canceled a single wedding. That’s when I learned this work is really about trust, connection, and showing up no matter what.

What started as a one-woman leap turned into something much bigger than I ever planned. As weddings picked up all across Washington, I quickly realized I couldn’t do it all alone. The workload grew, but so did the vision—because the kind of weddings I wanted to create required more hands, more eyes, and more heart. So I started building a team, slowly and intentionally. Not just people who were talented, but people who actually cared. People who could step into a wedding day and feel it, not just execute it. That mattered more to me than experience alone. Today, my team is an extension of everything I believe in—calm presence, creative thinking, and showing up fully for our couples. We support each other, we problem-solve fast, and we never treat a wedding like “just another event.” It’s still personal. It’s still hands-on. It’s just no longer just me—and honestly, it shouldn’t be. We seriously can't wait to plan your Spokane and Seattle weddings!

Hi, Gen here! Originally from Southwest Missouri, I’m pretty grateful to now call the PNW home. During the week, I work in project management for a construction company in the Seattle area, so organization and problem-solving are basically second nature to me at this point.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me exploring with my husband and dog, scrolling plant inspiration, or attempting to grow my flower cutting garden and tiny vegetable garden one season at a time. My camera roll is honestly 80% neighborhood flowers at this point.
After planning and celebrating my own wedding, I fell in love with the experience of watching a vision come to life in real time. Joining the A+D team felt like the perfect fit. I love being the calm, reliable person couples can lean on throughout the day and helping create those moments they’ll remember forever.

The moment the newlyweds walk back down the aisle together for the first time — married, finally — will always be my favorite part of the day. I still remember grabbing my husband’s hands after our ceremony and blurting out, “Oh my god, we did it,” while he smiled back at me like nothing else in the world mattered. In that moment, every late night, every stressful decision, every month of planning suddenly felt worth it. Getting to witness other couples experience that same kind of joy now is one of the biggest reasons I love being a wedding planner.

Hi! I’m Maddie — your fruity cocktail-loving, tattooed, flower and nature obsessed Event Planner who occasionally drives racecars just for fun.
I found my love for weddings after marrying the love of my life in 2023 and completely falling in love with the way every little detail came together. Having an incredible coordination team by my side made such an impact on me, and somewhere in the middle of post-wedding bliss and wanting something more for myself, I decided to take the leap into planning.
As for me? I think the tattoos, sarcasm, and occasional cursing say enough. I’m fiery, a little chaotic in the fun way, definitely imperfect, and deeply passionate about everything I do. I care hard, love harder, and will absolutely hype you up while making sure your wedding day feels authentically you.

For me, it’s the quiet little details finally coming together — the delicate place settings, the candles flickering exactly how we imagined, the florals settling perfectly into the space, all those tiny pieces that seem small on their own but completely transform a wedding day. But more than anything, I love seeing the couple’s reaction when they walk into the room for the first time and realize it’s real. Watching everything they envisioned come to life right in front of them never gets old, and honestly, that moment alone makes every hour of planning worth it.

Hey, I’m Nakyra — Spokane born and raised, but constantly dreaming about traveling the world someday. I’m a stay-at-home mom to my sweet boy, and somewhere in the middle of motherhood and planning my own wedding, I realized I wanted something more for myself.
Falling in love with the process of bringing my own wedding vision to life made me realize how much I wanted to help other people experience that same feeling. The excitement, the emotion, the “oh my god this is really happening” moments.
I’m all about whimsical, eclectic, non-conforming weddings that feel bold, loud, and utterly personal. I also love a soft, elegant, simplistic look too. At the end of the day, the most important thing to me is creating something that truly reflects who you are at your core.

Wherever the Lead Planners take us, I am along for the ride!!
My favorite part of a wedding is always those quiet in-between moments — the soft music playing as the bride walks down the aisle, the split second where the room goes still, or those little pauses throughout the day where everyone is just fully present and soaking it all in. There’s something so special about watching the couple simply exist together for a moment without the pressure, the timeline, or the noise. It feels raw and real in the best way, and honestly, those are usually the moments people remember most.
